In the Beginning

 My name is Alan Gilbertson founder and owner of Gilbertson Enterprises. Our mission is to bring computers and computer related services to families, small business and individuals who want and need them. Since 1986 our pledge has been very simple. We will go out of our way to make reliable computers, repairs, and computer services affordable. Our motto has been "Why pay a Cadillac price for for your computer just to get a Pinto." I started Gilbertson Enterprises after being unsatisfied with technical support and repair costs for a computer I acquired. You might say I got tired of paying for technical expertise and getting nothing in return. Being unsatisfied, I figured out the problem for myself and made the necessary repairs. Then I upgraded it, and when I was finished, that same over-spent computer was transformed into a powerful and personalized system that could do just about anything I would want it to do. From there, friends and relatives brought their troubled PCs to me and it wasn't too long after the concept of Gilbertson Enterprises was born.

 Gilbertson Enterprises was founded in 1986 on the premise that if a job can't be done correctly then you shouldn't do it at all. The same is true when it comes to your personal or small business computer, Why would you want to purchase a computer that may be only as good as it's so called warranty? You wouldn't purchase your appliances this way, nor would you when it comes to your automobile. This is why we were the first to extend the warranty to its limits. For example. Say the hard drive has a 3 year warranty but the rest of the components like memory, motherboard, video and sound card only have a one year warranty. We were the first to extend our warranty to meet or exceed the longest component warranty in this scenario the hard drive. How were we able to do this you might ask and the keyword is research. We research components not only by the components functionality, but quality and manufacturer longevity is also taken into consideration. The components we use in our computers are of the best quality, functionality and most of our manufactures have been in business since the days of the 286 and 386 systems. Another thing about our systems is that they are custom built to your specifications and needs. We won't build a one size fits all like you get in the super stores.

Labor Rates

   If any other computer company in Southeastern Wisconsin advertises a lower labor rate, we will not only match their quote, we will beat it by 10%.
   In-Shop Rate (Our systems)          $45.00 per hour (minimum ½ hour).
   In-Shop Rate (other systems)       $65.00 per hour (minimum ½ hour).
   On-Site Rate                                  $55.00 per hour (minimum 1 hour).
   Expedited Service                          $65.00 per hour (minimum 1 hour).
   Service Contracts                          $49.00 per hour under contract.
                                                         $49.00 per hour for excess hours.
                                                        (On-site Response Within 72 hours)
    No bench fee.
    Labor charged in 15 minute increments after the first hour.
    No travel fee for destinations within Waukesha County.
